Installation and Safety

Removal and Insertion:
- This unit cannot be removed or inserted with system power energized.
- Bussed field power must not exceed 30 VDC.
- Remove power before connecting or disconnecting devices.
- Use a module cover (KJ4001X1-FA1) for unoccupied locations.
- Do not unplug the product unless the system is de-energized or the area is safe.
- The combination of I/O carriers and LocalBus Extenders must not exceed 6.5 meters.
