Description
The Trusted 60 Channel 24 Vdc Digital Input FTA T8805 is designed to interface with non-incendive field devices in hazardous areas, providing termination for up to 60 digital input channels. The device supports dual 24 Vdc power feeds that are combined via diodes on the FTA and distributed to each channel through a 220 Ω current-limiting resistor. The signal from the field device is processed across a 5 kΩ resistor and connected to the input module, with ESD protection provided by a bi-directional TVS diode.
