Description

The CI873A 3BSE092695R1 is a communication interface designed for the AC 800M controller, enabling connection to external Ethernet devices using the EtherNet/IP protocol. It connects via the TP867 Baseplate, which features two RJ45 Ethernet connectors, with only the CH1 connector (supporting 100Mbps) being utilized. The CI873A module contains CEX-Bus logic, a communication unit, and a DC/DC converter that supplies the required voltage from a +24V supply through the CEX-Bus.

The CI873A is compatible with System 800xA versions 6.0.3.3, 6.1.1, and subsequent releases. It supports up to 6 redundant pairs of CI873A from firmware version 5.1 FP4.
