The 3500/92 Communication Gateway Module provides comprehensive communication capabilities for all monitored values and statuses, integrating seamlessly with process control and automation systems via Ethernet TCP/IP and serial (RS232/RS422/RS485) communications. It supports Ethernet communications with the 3500 Rack Configuration and Data Acquisition Software.

Supported Protocols:

Modicon Modbus Protocol: Via serial communications.
Modbus/TCP Protocol: A variant of serial Modbus for TCP/IP Ethernet communications.
Proprietary Bently Nevada Protocol: For communication with 3500 software packages.

The Ethernet connection features an RJ45 connector for 10BASE-T star configuration Ethernet networks. The 3500/92 retains communication interfaces and protocols from the original 3500/90, excluding primary value Modbus registers, and now includes a Configurable Modbus Register Utility, offering similar functionality to the original primary value register
