The AI835A is an 8-channel differential input module designed for precise thermocouple and millivolt (mV) measurements. It supports a wide range of thermocouple types (B, C, D, E, J, K, L, N, R, S, T, U) and linear mV inputs (-30 mV to +75 mV). Channel 8 can be configured as a Cold Junction (CJ) channel using a 4-wire Pt100 RTD for ambient temperature measurement, serving as the reference for channels 1-7. Alternatively, it functions as a regular input channel when CJ measurement is not required.
