ABB|REB611|Busbar and Multipurpose Differential Protection Relay
Description
- ABB REB611 is a dedicated busbar protection relay designed for phase-segregated short-circuit protection, control, and supervision of single busbars. It is suitable for high-impedance-based applications in utility substations and industrial power systems. Additionally, it can be used for restricted earth-fault and residual earth-fault protection of generators, motors, transformers, and reactors.
Features
- Compact design: Part of the Relion® 611 series with a withdrawable-unit design.
- Simplified setup: Only application-specific parameters need to be set.
- Communication: Supports IEC 61850, GOOSE messaging, PRP, HSR, and Modbus® protocols.
- Flexibility: Configurable via local HMI, Web HMI, or PCM600 software.
