Description

The 3611E is an 8-point supervised digital output (SDO) module designed for critical applications where outputs remain in a single state for extended periods. It processes output signals from main processors on three channels, using a fully fault-tolerant quadruplicated output switch with mechanical power relays to produce one voted output signal passed to the field termination. The module features voltage and current loopback circuitry for comprehensive fault detection and sophisticated online diagnostics to verify the operation of each output switch, the field circuit, and the presence of a load.
