The Bently Nevada 3500/92 Series Communication Gateway Modules provide extensive communication capabilities for all rack-monitored values and statuses. They facilitate integration with process control and other automation systems using both Ethernet TCP/IP and serial communications.
The Ethernet connection to the 3500/92 is an RJ45 interface for 10BASE-T star configuration Ethernet networks. The 3500/92 supports the communication interfaces and protocols from the original 3500/90, except for the primary value Modbus registers. Instead, it features a Configurable Modbus Register Utility that offers the same functionality originally addressed by the primary value Modbus registers.
