Woodward |9905-971 | Discrete Input Module
Description
The 9905-971 Discrete Input Module, developed by Woodward, is designed for engine and turbine applications. It features latent fault detection for each relay output and supports 24 Vdc for each discrete input. The module can use either normally open or normally closed contacts. It is installed in the control chassis, held by two screws and two handles for easy insertion and removal.
Technical Specifications
- Model Number: 9905-971
- Function: Control module for engine and turbine applications
- Power Supply: 24 VDC nominal (18-32 VDC input range), max power consumption 40 W
- Operating Temperature: -40°C to 70°C
- Dimensions: 300 mm x 220 mm x 100 mm
- Weight: 3.5 kg
-
Control Features:
- Speed control and governing
- Load sharing for multi-engine setups
- Comprehensive diagnostics and monitoring
- Communication Interfaces: RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet
- Mounting: Panel or rack mounting
- Certifications: CE, UL, CSA
- Application: Ideal for power generation, engine control, and precise automation
- Durability: Resilient against vibrations, shocks, and temperature variations
Features
- Discrete Inputs: Each module accepts six contact inputs, with a contact wetting voltage of 24 Vdc.
- Contact Wetting: Voltage can be sourced from an internal 24 Vdc power supply or an external 18-32 Vdc or 100-150 Vdc power source.
- Isolation: All discrete inputs are fully isolated, requiring a common reference point between inputs and the contact power source.
- Jumpers: Required between relay module terminals 33, 34, and 35 for internal 24 Vdc power.
- External Power: Connect the external power source's common to the discrete input commons (terminals 34 and 35).
