The FS212/N Fiber Optic Slave Module is produced by Bachmann electronic for use in industrial automation systems. It enables remote I/O substations through fiber optic connections, providing long-distance communication with electrical isolation and minimal signal delay. The FS212/N includes an integrated power supply to power the I/O modules at the substation and supports two fiber optic interfaces for more flexible network configurations.
