Description
The SCMPB01 is a 16-channel analog I/O backpanel designed to accept any combination of SCM5B analog modules. It supports mounting on a 19-inch metal rack (SCMXRK-002) and provides each module with its own analog bus. The module output switch remains continuously 'on', allowing all sixteen outputs to be simultaneously accessible to high-speed data acquisition boards. Each channel includes a temperature sensor for cold junction compensation.

Grounding Configuration:

- Optional resistive connection between AGND and backpanel signal ground via R1 (up to 10K ohms, recommended 100 ohms)
- Ground stud provided for full protection against electrical disturbances
- Connectors P1 and P2: Electrically equivalent, allow both analog input and output from host systems
- Adjacent Channel Jumpers: Provide two levels of 1500V isolation by connecting input module outputs to output module inputs
