Description
The 3623T is a TMR (Triple Modular Redundant) supervised digital output module designed for critical control applications where outputs remain in a single state for extended periods, sometimes years. It processes output signals from the main processors through three channels, using a fully fault-tolerant quadruplicated output switch with power transistors to ensure a single reliable output signal to field devices. The module features voltage and current loopback circuitry coupled with sophisticated online diagnostics to verify the operation of each output switch, the field circuit, and the presence of a load. This design provides complete fault coverage without influencing the output signal.
